Three side-by-side bridges across the Ljubljanica river, linking Prešeren Square with the old town. The central stone bridge had stood here since 1842 when, in the early 1930s, architect Jože Plečnik added two pedestrian spans on either side, styling the group as one with staircases and white balustrades. Today the Triple Bridge is a symbol of Ljubljana: old-town walks start here, and the statue of poet France Prešeren waits on the square.
