Open kitchen

For lunch, choose something appetizing from Open Kitchen – Ljubljana's major gastronomic festival, held every Friday from March to November, weather permitting. The country's best restaurants prepare dishes at food stalls between the river and the cathedral, and you can sit down to eat at one of the nearby benches and tables. Open Kitchen, a weekly open-air street food market with around 50 stalls, takes place on Fridays next to Ljubljana's Central Market.
