A pyramid-shaped building from 1988, erected as a museum for Enver Hoxha and later serving as a conference hall, a NATO base in 1999 and years of semi-abandonment. In 2023, after a renovation by MVRDV, it reopened as a youth technology centre, and its concrete slopes with steps can be climbed for free — the roof looks out over central Tirana. A striking example of a communist monument turned into a living public space.
