The Memorial of Communist Isolation, or 'PostBllok Checkpoint,' is considered one of the sad reminders of the past during the Hoxha regime. This small park is located right by the main road and opposite the government building. The park has various structures with a rich and dark history to tell. Checkpoint Charlie Park marks the entrance to the Blloku area. This park is a monument to communist isolation. Here you will find several entrances to bunkers, a gifted piece of the Berlin Wall, and concrete beams from Spaç prison – a notorious labor camp.
