A fairy-tale museum on Djurgarden, opened in 1996 with Astrid Lindgren's involvement. Its heart is the Story Train, a ride through Lindgren's tales — the Brothers Lionheart, Madicken, Ronja and Karlsson's rooftop — with scenery by illustrator Marit Tornqvist. Beyond the ride: Pippi Longstocking's Villa Villekulla, play areas, small theatre shows and a bookshop.
