Thessaloniki's waterfront along the Thermaic Gulf — roughly 3.5 km of promenade from the White Tower to the concert hall. Redeveloped in the 2010s with a cycle lane, shaded gardens and themed zones, it is now the stage for the city's favourite ritual: sunset over the gulf. On clear days Mount Olympus is visible across the water. The promenade links the seafront sights, from the tower to Aristotle Square.
