Plaza de España

Other≈ 30 min

With its gorgeous fountains, canals, and Venetian – style bridges, Plaza De España is a must-see attraction in the Andalucian capital. It is one of the most beautiful squares I have visited and was one of my top things to do in Seville It’s a visual feast with its colorful and incredible architecture which provides a very relaxing experience that you shouldn’t miss out on when visiting Seville. Running around the edge of the main building are colorful mosaic-tiled alcoves representing the 48 different regions of Spain. If you are not there on Thursdays or not interested in the contents of anyone’s attic, there’s also the Mercado de Feria, which is one of the oldest in Seville. Like all Spanish markets, most stalls will close after 2pm, so visit in the morning to see the best of the meat stalls, fresh fish hall and other stalls selling cakes and food to take away. Calle Feria and the surrounding streets are worth visiting in the evening when all the trendy bars and restaurants are open.
