A modern linear park along the Manzanares, created after the M-30 motorway was buried in tunnels and opened in 2011. It spans the cable-stayed Arganzuela bridge by Dominique Perrault, the 'Madrid beach' fountains where children splash in summer, cycle paths and boat hire. At the northern end stands the Segovia bridge, the city's oldest (1584).

Highlights

  • Arganzuela cable-stayed bridge by Perrault
  • Summer fountains of the 'Madrid beach'
  • Built where the M-30 motorway went underground
