The pink church of District 3 is one of Ho Chi Minh City's most photographed landmarks. Built in 1870-1876 in a Gothic Revival style with Romanesque details, it received its famous pastel-pink coat of paint in the 20th century. White trim, arched windows and a slender cross-topped tower stand out sharply against Vietnamese street life. Visitors may step inside outside mass times; dress modestly.
