A landmark modernist high-rise in the centre of Ljubljana, completed in 1933 to the design of architect Vladimir Šubic. Standing 70 metres and 13 storeys high, it was once among the tallest residential buildings in Europe, noted for its sleek Art Deco style and elegant spiral staircase. Today, the top-floor cafe and open-air observation terrace provide the city's finest 360-degree panorama of Ljubljana Castle and the Old Town below.
