A spectacular tiered fountain set beneath the National Art Museum at the foot of Montjuïc hill, built for the 1929 International Exposition by Carles Buïgas. In the evenings, it stages free light and music performances where thousands of illuminated water jets dance in choreographies set to classical and pop scores. Terraces offer broad views toward Plaça d'Espanya.
