One of France's oldest zoological gardens, welcoming visitors since 1858 inside Lyon's lush Parc de la Tête d'Or. Covering eight hectares, the zoo is best known for the expansive African Plain, where giraffes, zebras, and rare antelopes roam freely across a recreated savannah landscape. Guests can also observe Asian lions, red pandas, and primates, with the extraordinary perk of entirely free admission for all.
