A botanical garden inside the Parc de la Tête d'Or, tracing its history to 1794 and moved to the park in 1880. It is renowned for its alpine collection — one of the largest in Europe — along with greenhouses of tropical plants and succulents, a carnivorous plant collection and the great rose garden nearby. Entry is free; the glasshouses open at set hours, so check the schedule. A perfect addition to a stroll through the park.
