Seville Cathedral's 104-metre bell tower originated in the 12th century as an Almohad minaret, capped in the 16th century by a Renaissance belfry and the El Giraldillo weathervane. Instead of stairs, 35 inclined ramps lead to the top, designed so the muezzin could ride up on horseback. The viewing platform offers sweeping panoramas of Seville. Entry is included with the cathedral ticket; timed booking is recommended.
