A branch of the 5th Military Zone, the Ho Chi Minh Museum pairs halls on the leader's life with an exhibition on the Central Vietnamese struggle for independence, from uprisings against French colonisation to the war with the United States. Documents, weapons, banners, partisan belongings and field radios. The museum lies away from the beach strip in the modern quarter on Duy Tan Street and is rarely crowded.
