The Great Mosque of Tirana, or Namazgah Mosque, stands along the Lana River near the Albanian Parliament as the largest mosque in the Balkans. Inaugurated in October 2024, the monumental complex draws inspiration from classical Ottoman architecture, crowned by a 30-metre central dome and four 50-metre minarets. Accommodating up to 5,000 worshippers, it serves as a spiritual centre welcoming respectful visitors outside prayer times.
