A museum built into the slope of the Fourvière hill beside the Roman theatre and odeon of ancient Lugdunum. The display spirals up a ramp: mosaics, tombstones, jewellery, the Claudian Table recording a speech on citizenship for the Gauls, and the Coligny calendar, the fullest surviving Celtic calendar. The ticket covers the adjacent Roman theatres, and the upper levels look down over the Saône.
