Opened in 2023 along the River Irwell in Manchester, Aviva Studios serves as the permanent home of Factory International and the Manchester International Festival. Designed by Ellen van Loon of Rem Koolhaas's architectural practice OMA, the monumental cultural center features a vast 21-metre-high Warehouse and a flexible 1,600-seat Hall. The venue hosts boundary-pushing contemporary art installations, opera, dance, and live concerts.
