Al Riwaq Gallery

This modern gallery space hosts several remarkable temporary exhibitions – previous artists to have shown their work here include Damien Hirst and Takashi Murakami... Located near the Museum of Islamic Art, the Al Riwaq gallery is an art space temporarily dedicated to masterclasses and exhibitions. Overlooking MIA Park, this working space hosts formal and informal art events, lectures and exhibitions featuring artists such as Takashi Murakami and Damien Hirst. The art space can accommodate up to 400 people outdoors, while the indoor space can hold up to 150 people at a time; for events that do not require seating, the indoor space can accommodate nearly 250 people.
