Housed in an elegant late-nineteenth-century arcade that survived the devastating Great Fire of 1917, this museum preserves the heritage of Thessaloniki's Sephardic community. Once known across Europe as the 'Mother of Israel', the city was a thriving Jewish cultural capital. Exhibits display ceremonial silverware, Judeo-Spanish books, vintage textiles, and a poignant memorial to the 50,000 citizens murdered in the Holocaust.
