Founded in 1874 by decree of King Milan Obrenović and named in honor of his grandfather, Jevremovac is a lush botanical haven in central Belgrade. Its centerpiece is an exquisite Victorian wrought-iron and glass greenhouse manufactured in Dresden in 1892, housing hundreds of tropical and desert plants. The grounds also feature an open-air arboretum of over 1,000 species, a tranquil Japanese Garden, and a historic herbarium.
