Neon Museum

Museum4.4 · 2 0904.2 · 420≈ 1 hEntry: ~25 PLN42 m from the center

The first museum in the world dedicated to Cold War neon, founded by Ilona Karwińska to rescue glowing street signs from Poland's socialist decades. More than 200 restored signs — among them legendary 'Bambino', 'Piksel' and 'Syrena' — glow in the darkened hall. The museum now operates in the Palace of Culture and Science; an hour is enough, and the neon looks best in the dim light.
