Croatia's largest technical museum, founded in 1954 and renamed for Nikola Tesla. Under one roof are a full-size mine gallery you can walk through, vintage trams, locomotives and cars, a planetarium and an aquarium. The star attraction is the 'Tesla cabinet', where lecturers stage spectacular electricity demonstrations with high voltage. Great with children — plan at least a couple of hours.
