Triennale Milano is a museum of design and contemporary art inside the Palazzo dell'Arte, built in 1933 by Giovanni Muzio at the edge of Parco Sempione. It dates back to 1923 and made its name with international decorative arts exhibitions. Since 2019 it has hosted the permanent Italian Design Museum, with the Castiglioni brothers' Arco lamp, Gio Ponti's Superleggera chair and other canonical pieces. Temporary shows rotate through the rest.
