A majestic neoclassical triumphal arch standing at the head of Corso Sempione and framing the park behind Sforza Castle. Commissioned by Napoleon in 1807 and completed under the Habsburgs in 1838 to celebrate European peace, the Crevola marble gate is crowned by the 'Sestiga della Pace', an impressive bronze chariot drawn by six rearing horses.
