A quiet lime-tree walk along the ramparts of Geneva's upper town, a favourite of locals for its views over the Old Town rooftops and, on clear days, the Alps. It holds the world's longest wooden bench, some 120 metres long, recorded in the Guinness Book. Next to it grows Geneva's official chestnut tree — the first bud it opens traditionally announces the arrival of spring in the city.
