The world's largest collection of Cham sculpture, from the vanished kingdom of Champa: temple art of the 4th–15th centuries brought from the sanctuaries of My Son, Tra Kieu and Dong Duong. Founded in 1915 by French archaeologists, the museum sits in a neoclassical building by the Dragon Bridge. Shiva, Ganesha, garudas, altars and sandstone friezes make it the one place to see Champa art whole. The riverside is handsomely lit at night.
