The museum of contemporary art of the Finnish National Gallery. Its curving, ramp-filled building by American architect Steven Hall opened in 1998 and is an attraction in itself — the upper terrace looks over Mannerheimintie avenue. Exhibitions gather Finnish and Nordic art from the 1960s to today, alongside performances, video screenings and design shows; entry is free on the first Friday evening of each month.
