A Belle Époque palace on the Promenade des Anglais, built between 1898 and 1901 for the grandson of Napoleonic Marshal André Masséna. The villa is framed by palm gardens designed by Édouard André. Inside, the museum traces the history of Nice and the French Riviera, displaying Napoleon's death mask, Empress Joséphine's tiara, period furniture, landscape paintings, and vintage posters of the early Nice Carnivals.
