Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild stands on Cap Ferrat between Nice and Monaco; Baroness Béatrice de Rothschild opened it in 1912. The Venetian-spirited house is filled with Sèvres porcelain, antique furniture and paintings, while nine themed gardens spread around it — French, Spanish, Florentine, Japanese. Terraces offer sea views on both sides of the peninsula, from Villefranche bay to Beaulieu. Classical concerts play in the gardens in summer.
