The biennale is held every two years and takes place in some of the most iconic locations in Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk Oblast. The next biennale is scheduled for 2019. Having visited the third biennale, which attracted 300 artists from 70 countries, I can say that contemporary art is not always easy to understand, but it is definitely fascinating.
