A Ferris wheel in the Tempozan quarter on Osaka Bay, next door to the Kaiyukan aquarium. It opened in 1997 and was then the world's largest: 112.5 metres tall with a 100-metre diameter. A full turn takes about 17 minutes, and in clear weather the bay, the port and the city stretch to the horizon. After dark the wheel lights up and becomes an attraction of the waterfront in its own right, especially paired with a walk by the aquarium.
