Tavaduri

If you're looking for good value for money and simple Georgian food, Tavaduri is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. I enjoyed sitting on the top-floor balcony overlooking the street. Meat is the specialty here: chicken and pork mtsvadi skewers are cooked to order over coals at a cute little street grill in front of the restaurant. At Tavaduri, you can try the unique "Mama Khinkali," a gigantic khinkali stuffed with standard-sized ones. The presentation of this dish is a theatrical experience in itself.
