A monumental Hindu complex opened in 2005 on the banks of the Yamuna River. Built entirely from Rajasthani pink sandstone and Carrara marble without structural steel or concrete, the mandir features 234 carved pillars, nine domes, and a base with 148 stone elephants. The grounds include themed gardens, a boat ride through Indian history, and an evening musical fountain show. Phones must be cloaked.
