The Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam Temple is a Hindu temple in the back streets of Colombo, near Cinnamon Lakeside, the hotel where I stayed. Unfortunately, it was closed that day, so I had to settle for a tour of the parking lot and take just a few photos of the entrance from outside, all the while dodging tuk-tuks and motorcycles, as it faces a fairly busy back street. Just look at the intricate design of the entrance tower. Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam, dedicated to Shiva and Ganesha, is considered the oldest temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The temple was created by architects and sculptors from India. Sri Kailawasanathan Swami Devasthanam Temple - that's a complicated name, isn't it?
