Slovak National Collection of Wines

Tucked away in the cellar beneath the Apponyi Palace, next to the Old Town Hall, you will find the official annual collection of the 100 best Slovak wines. You can talk to the sommelier about your preferences, and he will gladly recommend which wines to try. You can also take part in an overview wine tasting featuring 80 wines in 100 minutes! The Slovak National Wine Gallery is the ideal place to learn more about the country's best wines, and it presents the country's 100 best bottles in cooperation with the Museum of Viticulture. Self-guided tours and various tasting courses make this a place to relax and enjoy the fruits of the region's labor.
