One of Hong Kong's most venerated temples, dedicated to the Taoist deity Wong Tai Sin, believed to answer wishes. The complex blends Taoist, Buddhist and Confucian traditions, and its Good Wish Garden reinterprets the classical landscaping of Suzhou. Fortune-telling by kau cim is hugely popular: bamboo sticks are shaken from a cylinder, and the drawn number is interpreted by the soothsayers on site.
