One of the largest mosques in the world, accommodating up to 40,000 worshippers: pure white Macedonian marble, 82 domes, and over a thousand columns inlaid with semi-precious floral stones. Inside lies the world's largest hand-knotted carpet weighing 35 tonnes and massive 24-karat gold-gilded Swarovski crystal chandeliers. Open to visitors of all faiths; Sheikh Zayed is buried on the grounds.
