One of Poland's oldest ethnographic museums, founded in 1902 and housed in Kazimierz's former town hall on Wolnica Square. The heart of the collection is Seweryn Udziela's bequest: folk costumes, furniture, szopka nativity scenes, shepherd's staffs and paintings by folk artists. Three floors tell of peasant culture and town crafts; the permanent exhibition is free on Tuesdays.
