An aquarium in Linnanmaki park north of central Helsinki, open since 1998. Dozens of tanks hold thousands of sea creatures: sharks, rays, jellyfish, octopuses and reef fish. The main attraction is a glass tunnel where sharks glide overhead, and feeding sessions with keeper commentary run on a schedule. The Linnanmaki amusement park is next door, with a tram from the city centre.
