A working post office in central Saigon, built in 1886-1891 to a design by Alfred Foulhoux. Beneath a vast iron-framed dome hang two historic maps — a plan of Saigon from 1892 and a chart of Indochina's telegraph lines from 1936. Wooden telephone booths and counters survive inside, and tourists still send postcards to any corner of the world from here.
