Royal Park Rajapruek was laid out for the Royal Flora 2006 international horticulture exposition south of Chiang Mai. Dozens of hectares hold themed gardens, greenhouses with orchids and giant water lilies, and the park's symbol, the golden-roofed Lanna pavilion Ho Kham Luang reflected in a pond. A shuttle tram runs around the grounds, and the pavilion glows with evening lighting. Best in flower season, November to February.
