This military museum in the northern wing of the Cinquantenaire palace grew out of a 1910 collection into one of Europe's largest. Armour and swords, Napoleonic uniforms, trophies of both world wars and heavy hardware fill its galleries. The highlight is the aircraft hall beneath the triumphal arch, where dozens of planes stand wing to wing, from early biplanes to jet fighters.
