Germany's parliament building, completed in 1894, with the inscription Dem Deutschen Volke on its pediment. After the 1933 fire and decades of neglect, Norman Foster crowned the restoration with a glass dome (1999), where a spiral ramp climbs to an observation deck over Berlin. The dome is free but requires online advance registration — book a few days ahead. The Bundestag chamber sits below, and a section of the Berlin Wall stands nearby.
