Located on the scenic island of Djurgården, Waldemarsudde was the waterfront home of Prince Eugen (1865–1947), son of King Oscar II and an accomplished landscape painter. Built in Art Nouveau style in 1905 by architect Ferdinand Boberg, the estate now ranks among Sweden's premier art museums. It displays Prince Eugen's own works alongside masterpieces by Anders Zorn and Carl Larsson, set within lush flower gardens dotted with Rodin bronzes.
