The Prague Orloj on the Old Town Hall wall is the world's oldest operating astronomical clock, installed in 1410. Every hour, spectators gather to watch the mechanical show: the twelve apostles parade in the upper windows while a skeleton representing Death rings a bell. The astronomical dial tracks the positions of the Sun, Moon phases, and celestial constellations.
