A picturesque artificial lake located in northern Mumbai's Powai Valley, created by British engineers in 1891. Framed by rolling green hills, the campus of IIT Bombay, and the neoclassical towers of Hiranandani Gardens, it offers a peaceful waterside promenade. The lake is popular for jogging, sunset walks, and birdwatching, as well as being home to pink water lilies and a resident wild population of Indian marsh crocodiles.
