In less than 5 minutes you can reach Plaza de la Virgen, which offers another view of the cathedral and the Basilica of the Virgin of the Forsaken. Now it's time to step inside the cathedral (did you know that it is said the Holy Grail is kept here?) and climb the 207 steps of the Micalet tower (51 meters high) to enjoy a truly unforgettable view. Back at ground level, you find yourself right next to the curious Plaza Redonda, a round square surrounded by craft shops and tapas bars, and another attraction, the Valencia Silk Exchange, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Behind the Cathedral lies Plaza de la Virgen, a pedestrian square built entirely of marble, with the Neptune fountain at its center. The square is surrounded by numerous terraces, and the place comes alive with plenty of street musicians. The square is also home to the church of the Virgen de los Desamparados, the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.
