Playa del Saler

One of the finest beaches on the Gulf of Valencia, south of the city inside the Albufera Natural Park. The sand is pale and fine, dunes and a pine forest with walking trails lie behind it, and the water takes the full force of the surf. A bus runs here from central Valencia, and the road passes rice fields that grow the grain for authentic paella. Locals prize it for its space and wild dune strip.
