Piazzale Michelangelo

Although it's a bit of a tough climb to the top, Piazzale Michelangelo never, never disappoints. You can take a bus or taxi to the top, but on foot it's more of an adventure — and more pasta later. Take your next profile picture, admire the beauty of the city, and watch the sunset while sipping a glass of local wine at one of the charming cafés on the piazza. On a sunny day or during a magnificent sunset, I think there's no better place to be in Florence. The Piazzale overlooks the city, and apart from the steep, short climb, it's fairly easy to get to.
